📣 Curious Quote from the Author
“Bosses realise we can't just plan and plod towards the future, we must reimagine it. To do this, everyone in organisations needs to be creatively switched on. When asked to rank the most important workplace aptitudes of this century, top CEOs reported that 'creativity' is rapidly rising up the hierarchy of valuable human skills. They rated it the third most important in 2019, up from tenth in 2015. For the first time, creative thinking is on the same playing field as people management, complex problem solving and critical thinking.”
📚 Cognition of the Book’s Big Idea:
AI is evolving at a quicker rate than ever before, completing ordinary chores and jobs that people have done for years. Rather of competing with robots in these areas, we may maintain vital roles in the digital economy by focusing on broad learning, honing our capacity to identify fascinating challenges and answers, and working with others.
Seek purpose in your work.
When our work provides us with a sense of meaning and purpose, our motivation levels rise, as do our curiosity, inventiveness, and determination at work. Look for ways in which your work improves the lives of others, or consider the areas of your profession about which you are most enthusiastic.
Finding and focussing on these will renew your excitement.
🛠️Fixing the Tech Industry
We all are starting to feel both the wonder and problems coming with AI. ChatGPTwas the fastest platform to reach 1 million users ever. We all simultaneously are amazed at the advancements, but we also can easily see companies throwing us out on our keisters because a lot of our tasks can be completed by AI.
I predict that a lot of how the Internet Disrupted old businesses will happen a lot in the workplace too. For the most part, human centric processes like sales and other service related functions have needed to wholly rely on humans for the work to get down. Now, everyone expects efficiency through an app or automated form, but want a human touch on the important parts, at least the parts where they can verify what they are getting themselves involved in isn’t a scam.
